The last Music Monday of 2011

I thought I’d post some of the songs I couldn’t get enough of this year for you guys. Some are old songs that were new to me, some are old favorites, and some are newish. Most of them aren’t even from 2011, but oh well. Enjoy!

Katy B – Katy On A Mission – if you came to my house, or went out with me at all it was a guarantee you would hear this song with me lol

Phantogram – When I’m Small – This whole album is amazing, but this is the song that made me fall in love with them.

Bonobo – In All Forms – Bonobo is amazing and I could listen to all of the albums without stop, but this one is my current favorite.

Music Monday: Bonobo

So a friend gave me some music to listen to, and I finally got around to listening (I’m really bad about taking recomendations and following through on them), and you know how music can put you in a certain mood, or remind you of a certain time? or place? or feeling? Well Bonobo reminds me of this picture, and many other pictures I’ve taken like it. A nice spring breezy day, like today for instance.

Anyway, just thought I’d share some art and music with you today, and its totally by coincidence that I felt like posting this today, hence the music Monday post. Haha, I must have good timing

In other news I have the girl scout presentation on Friday, it kind of crept up on me so I’ll be working hard today and the next couple days at getting my little power point show and cameras ready. I’ll make sure to share the presentation with you all here once its finalized and ready to go. Honor your troops today by chowin’ down on some BBQ for those who can’t! :)
