Church of the Assumption, part 2

So I had mentioned a while ago over the summer when I went to Dillon Beach and passed through Tomales that there was this really cool church and a creepy mill in the back yard area…well here you go. I finally got around to developing the last of those pictures.

to recap, Church of the Assumption...

I didn’t mention before but this church over looks a lot of farmland and rolling green hills, its really got a great view of the town. On the grounds there is a really old beautiful house (which I didn’t take a picture of because the people were home and that would be weird), and some very nice old wrought iron gates.

And remember how I had mentioned that mill on the property with a creepy Virgin Mary statue watching the yard? Well here you go. Let the creepy begin.

buildings weather so much better near the ocean, love it.

And there she is. Anyway, I apologize for my lack of posting. Life happens and I haven’t really been motivated lately. But I’m back and I realized that photography has the power to pull me out of my worst moods so I’m going to try not to go so long between developing pictures next time. :)
